Limitations of Composition in SC

Another day I had a similar thought on the different nature of online and offline systems. But… tell me if that’s not the case, sometimes some systems of different natures can converge into a third thing.

Take probabilistic programming languages as an example. They don’t really “know” the future, but their core design principles aim at acting as they can “see” the future: it’s a Monad, a kind of monadic structure where inference is wraped as the ability to know the future.

have actually found a nice solution for this whole problem by using the MLPRegressor from the Flucoma toolkit to interpolate between different states of musical material to create formal structures.

Could you perhaps post a follow-up showing how this new workflow solved your issue and your implementation? Would be very helpful. I’m just learning SC and have also been thinking about the issues discussed earlier in the thread.
