Nathan Ho - Steganography

Second full-length album. Out now on 3OP.

11 tracks, 30 minutes. 100% vanilla SuperCollider, fully synthesized. No samples, no external software (not even sc3-plugins), no AI chatbots. Very little algorithmic composition as well: this is mostly programmed manually, note by note.

Available for digital download, or as an extremely limited run of 250-page hardcover books containing all 13,841 lines of SuperCollider source code and a USB stick with the masters in a hole carved in the pages. All books hand-bound by me.

Listening to it right now, very impressive !
And excellent idea to publish the source code as a book.
Hats off !

Congrats!
The timbrical conceptualization is interesting and well done.

It remebers me to Bernard Parmegianni timbres and textures, and I did this work, with sounds of him:

Where I found similarities with your tracks of the album in the sounds.

Awesome! It sounds like a masterpiece among live coding albums.

Unfortunately I was late to purchase the book. @nathan Are you considering to release an ebook version?

Thank you! (I am not a live coder though.)

I cannot guarantee anything yet but another edition is possible given the demand (which I seriously underestimated). The main bottleneck is my time as it takes me the better part of a day to bind a book. However, physical copies will be the only way to obtain the source code.
