Call for student research assistant (sentire project, Humboldt,University Berlin)

Sentire is a Berlin-based project and collective that began in 2016 as a participatory performance series, in which proximity and touch events between two people are sonified. It is now also an ongoing interdisciplinary research, connecting artists, researchers, developers and therapists. The main goal of our research is to develop an interactive system that enhances body perception of its users and can be used in the context of therapy.

We are currently looking for a student research assistant (40h/month, from October 2021 to August 2022, possibly longer) for assisting in the development of gesture recognition software based on the sentire sensor system.

Interest and knowledge in programming (python) and machine/deep learning are favorable.
