Citing SC help documentation

Hi all,

I’m writing my BA thesis which involves a lot of SC jargon, so I wanted to add some references to topics available in the help documentation.

Does anyone have any suggestions how I would for example cite The Ndef help documentation in APA style?

This should be addressed to your thesis supervisor, but in general…

If you are just pointing out it is there as extra info for the reader, just put a footnote with a URL link, but make sure you have cited supercollider elsewhere.

If you want to explicitly quote something from the document or the actual content is in someway important,

Ndef registers synths by key. All accesses to the registered synths go through the Ndef class via that key. Registered synths can be replaced with other synths while playing. A synth and its replacement can automatically crossfade and the replacement time can be quantized.

Ndef is a reference to a proxy, forms an alternative to link::Classes/ProxySpace::. All methods are inherited from link::Classes/NodeProxy::.
