Cmd+. doesn't work anymore in Ubuntu 23.04?

Hello,

I recently upgraded my Ubuntu. However, about 2 months have passed since opening my SC, and I am not sure this is related.

Today I opened my SC and my Cmd+. does not work anymore. However, other shortcuts like Cmd++ or Cmd± work fine. When I press Cmd+., the following character appears: “e” (with e underlined). If I press Cmd+. again, the “e” disappears.

Does anybody know where I can start to solve this problem?

This might be related to the ‘emoji’ insertion shortcut in Ubuntu : see this post for a way to try to correct this behavior.
