Not sure what I’m doing in SuperCollider for this to happen. I’ll be messing around with a SynthDef I built, then randomly I’ll stop hearing sound. I won’t be able to hear sound from anything on my computer, whether that be from Spotify, YouTube or SC. It usually takes a minute or so for the sound to come back. Is something crashing? I’d appreciate any help.
You’ve probably overloaded your soundcard/sound engine. I’ve had the same issues recently when using the BPF with too high or too low frequency. Unplugging the USB of the soundcard seemed to work.
