this Saturday, May 27, project ensemble morph will be so brave and perform my new piece Rizumu Gēmu in Cologne, together with other exiciting pieces.
Rizumu Gēmu is an algorithmic composition for 5 instruments inspired by Japanese Arcade-Rhythm-Games; the score is generated in realtime and streamed to the players’ tablets. A graphical representation of the score is projected on a screen, so that the audience can follow and also anticipate the music. The piece is built upon a baroque mix of SuperCollider, Pure Data, Python and JavaScript – so something for everyone
