Im currently working on the UI of my complex pulsar instrument.
I would like that it has that “gen x soft club” look, currently making a moodbord.
I think the faders should look like the volume controls from the sanyo hdp-m3000 (2005).
Hopefully im able to make some sun bleached blurry fades haha. Any other suggestions?
The current implementation is visually not detailed enough for my taste, needs more depth.
The design looks great imo, but I’d be worried the sliders are too small and hard click on? Can you scroll on them, is the click absolute, or can you drag it from anywhere, can you do detailed dragging? Sliders and sometimes annoying.
Also there are a lot of controls here… You might consider some kind of control reduction that lets you quickly explore the space? Then expand a menu to see more controls? Flucoma has some cool tools for this.
These arent even all controls, got these from the following tab and some more.
The MLP Regressor is already ready for another tab. But you first have to create some presets, random and vary buttons per section are helping out with that.
There is also a mod matrix and an effects tab.
Maybe some of the params of the three chains can be controlled by a single slider.But havent found a good coupling yet. Maybe its just about rearranging in the GUI. Lets see
The background could be more interesting, maybe some lines between sectons and a contrasting color block.
