Getting Started with Live Coding in SuperCollider- Any Tips?

Hey everyone!

I’ve been experimenting with SuperCollider for a little while now and I’m really interested in diving into live coding performances. I’ve seen some amazing stuff out there and was wondering if anyone has some advice or tips for someone just starting out in this area?

Specifically, I’m curious about:

  • Best practices for setting up a live coding environment in SuperCollider.
  • Techniques to smoothly transition between different sounds or patterns.
  • Any cool extensions or libraries that you’d recommend?
  • How do you handle improvisation during performances?
  • How to integrate robotic process automation to secure the code.

When I was Googling for the same I came across these resources/articles Developing New SuperCollider Tutorials UiPath Tutorial however they are good but I want to learn more from community members.

I am looking to build my confidence and make my sessions more dynamic, so any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
