Linux vs W10 vs Mac ++ SC?

Recently I started from 2019 to use SuperCollider, and from beginning in Linux, more that time Mint, but I never has used in W10.

What are the disadvantages to use SC in W10. And advantages to use it in MAC that are no in W10 and Linux?

Obviously must be a lot, just answer the most relevant.

i would miss “date”.unixCmd on windows.
i also use it a lot on raspberry pi

I’ve used Linux and Windows for the last year and I haven’t missed anything except it would be nice to Pipe to/from the shell.

  • Shell commands are interpreted differently for each platform

  • Conflicts involving the ambiguity of back and forward slash file path representations still exist for Windows

  • Linux may require a slightly different process for connecting MIDI inputs / outputs
