Here’s a piece I made for choreographer HyoJin Kim - part of a larger contemplated WIP (100% SC) - The particle video had been performed to an ancient piece of court music: Yoeminrak - I made this music from the same ancient score, but reading each of the notes as a pentatonic cluster. I built a fun system to sequence and preview… but synthesis-wise its pretty simple… there are some fun things with rhythm - little phrases that change tempo linearly but land back on beats - and also tempo-mapping to marry the performance! anyhoo hope you all enjoy!
