New forum layout, needed to search for 5 min to logout, a new feature by the forum software makers, to keep people logged in as long as possible to track them? Or am I too suspicious here?
Discourse is an open-source platform, and the decisions about this kind of thing seem to be made in pretty public and democratic way. I would be very surprised if a “make it hard to log out for tracking purposes” argument got ANY traction in that environment.
