Dear members of the SuperCollider community,
The Centro Superior Katarina Gurska (CSKG) in Madrid offers an official Master’s degree in Electroacoustic Composition (60 ECTS), with access to doctoral studies. Now in its 14th year, the program trains composers, performers and sound artists working with live electronics, music for instruments and electronics, algorithmic composition, live coding and sound installations.
SuperCollider has a significant place in the curriculum: of the program’s 305 class hours, more than a third are dedicated to work with SuperCollider, which is also the environment for one of the two final works.
Sessions are held in person in Madrid, on alternating weekends, which makes the program compatible with professional work and accessible to students living outside the city. Classes are held in Spanish.
Classes begin October 2. A few spots remain following some late cancellations, and applications are still being accepted.
