Recording very long sound files

Hi all,

Just curious if anyone has used SC to record very long sound files (e.g. on the scale of 15 hours) either RT or NRT, and if so what your technique was / tips / pitfalls etc.

For NRT, if the duration is longer than a wav can handle, set the headerFormat of the Score object to “w64.”

For RT, I’m not sure but I think it would be the same solution (I don’t have 15 hours to try it). I would try DiskOut with w64 as the headerFormat.
