SAPF basics

Hi there!

Is it possible to .scope signals inside SAPF? Or any simple alternatives on how to do it on macOS?

When I run the SAPF and load the prelude file it complains about Manta not being connected. What this should be doing?

Type 'helpall' to get a list of all built-in functions.
Type 'quit' to quit.

Thanks!!

The most you can get as far as visual output directly from SAPF itself would be the spectrogram function sgram which I think isn’t quite what you want. (Other than using an external program to either monitor the audio output directly, or recording a snippet of multichannel audio to file and opening it in an external program).

It seems like a nice feature to add for sure!

As far as Manta…SAPF has built in support for this very specific audio hardware called Manta. It’s no problem at all if you see that message, it’s just saying that the manta-specific features aren’t enabled.
