Hello people;
I have this issue with SC and I haven’t been able to solve it for months now.
This is the Error:
“SC_PortAudioDriver: PortAudio failed at Pa_OpenStream with error: ‘Unanticipated host error’
could not initialize audio.
Server ‘localhost’ exited with exit code -1073740791”

I tried re-installing different versions, restarting computer, ServerKill doesn’t help, rebooting local host shows this error, I have no jack installed, it only works when I manually switch it to Asio4all but only on headphones. Please let me know if you know what I can do. Thanks!

I’m having a similar problem. It seems to happen only with my zoom interface, SuperCollider works with my computer’s sound card. I’ve updated my zoom driver and I’m still getting the same error.

I’m using the latest version of SuperCollider (3.13.0) on Windows 11.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions?

Hi again
I’ve managed to fix my issue in my settings in windows. In System > Sound > Advanced> all sound devices
then I chose my device and used the troubleshooter - it found some issue about it not being set to the default audio format (?? sorry I didn’t read it that well) and now it works!
