Today we’ve had multiple spambot attacks. Calling on the community to help us by flagging spam posts. Mods will try to ban these users as quickly as we can.

I’ve just finished deleting all the spam posts and banning the accounts responsible. If there are any that I didn’t catch, please flag them!
For now, all new accounts will need to be approved - hopefully this will stop any more attacks for the time being. In addition, I’m looking into whether we can make some tighter restrictions on new users - all these accounts had zero read time (meaning, they had not read ANY posts), and created a bunch of new posts immediately after creating their accounts - very obvious red flag behavior, I’m not sure why discord didn’t flag these things automatically, but probably we can tighten things down slightly to account for this.
