Im risking looking like an idiot, But im looking for an effect that is the equivalent of a cubist painting. Or sending something through a fractal effect. Like running a sample through a sample and hold at audio rates, perhaps. Yes, but more crystalline. The 4ms spectral multiband resonator has a sound that approaches what Im after. Maybe an envelope sent to the SMS could get there. Almost like a bitcrushing effect, but more controlled. Ive tried to describe it as much as I can, Maybe there is something in supercollider somewhere that can sound like that. I’m sure it can. Any help is really appreciated
