Michel Waisvisz was a pioneer with his digital musical instrument The Hands, the first version dating back to the 1980s. On this evening, we will screen old performance footage, give you an insight to his artistic practice with The Hands, and a look inside The Hands. In addition, we will have two performances from artists working with similar idiosyncratic instruments: Franziska Baumann and Alex Nowitz.
