What are those "late" messages in the post window?

Hi, I regularly get some “late” messages in the post window.
What are they ?
Example:

late 0.012122264
late 0.007125776
late 0.006457721
late 0.007235696

A “late” message occurs when the timestamp asks for the message to be evaluated so that the sound hits the speakers at time ‘a’, but the message arrived at the server too late for this to happen. This could happen if server latency is too low. (Latency should never be smaller than the audio hardware block duration, plus a fraction of a ms for network transport.)
